Child Safety Standards

MomMe is a friendship platform exclusively for adult mothers (18+). We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form. Content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits or endangers minors leads to immediate removal, a permanent ban and, where the law requires or allows it, a report to the relevant authorities.

Every profile photo is automatically screened by image-moderation technology beforeit is stored or shown to anyone. A photo the screening flags is refused at upload and never stored; photos that pass also go to our moderation team's review queue. Reported profiles and MomMeetups are reviewed by people. Accounts are for adults only: creating one requires a declared date of birth showing the user is 18 or older.

Photos that two mothers send each other in a chat are not checked automatically. Whoever receives such a photo can report it with a long press. A reported photo is kept as evidence and reviewed by our moderation team; where we suspect it shows the abuse of a minor, we report it to the competent authority in the region concerned.

Every user can report a profile directly in the app and on the website, and can end contact with another user at any time. Reports are handled by our moderation team, child-safety reports with the highest priority. You can also reach us directly at info@meetmomme.nl.

We comply with applicable child-safety laws, including reporting confirmed CSAM to the appropriate authorities (in the Netherlands: the police and Offlimits/Meldpunt Kinderporno), and we preserve and share evidence with law enforcement when legally required.

Elke profielfoto wordt vóór plaatsing automatisch gecontroleerd; foto's in een chat niet, maar wie er een ontvangt kan hem melden door er lang op te drukken. Meldingen kunnen direct in de app worden gedaan en worden met prioriteit beoordeeld door ons moderatieteam. Bevestigd misbruikmateriaal melden we bij de politie en Offlimits (Meldpunt Kinderporno).
